Hi, there! It’s nice to meet you. There are a few things I would like to tell you before we start this journey together. First of all, welcome aboard! You are now part of something. I think we will do amazing things together. And I cannot wait to hear everything about you. But, in the meantime, if you’re curious about who I am, let me introduce myself.

I am a 24-year-old girl who is trying to survive the beautiful chaos of London, along with my boyfriend and a few really weird, but also pretty great, friends. Apart from that, I am obsessed with dogs, addicted to coffee and passionate about life. I have plenty of goals that I want to achieve and I will always prefer dreaming big, rather than settle for something less. I believe in the importance of enjoying every little moment, every breath, every cup of coffee, every sunrise.

I started this blog because I would like you to accompany me on this amazing journey I began when I first moved to London, almost a year ago. In such a big city, it is so easy to feel overwhelmed, alienated, isolated, lonely. It is easy to lose yourself among so many people, on the underground to go to work every morning, at a crowded restaurant, in the middle of the street. This is exactly what happened to me. I had the classic 9-5 job but my boyfriend was working at night. Seeing each other was basically impossible. It was a very lonely period for me, as I spent most of my time on my own.

Now, what I failed to understand at that time is that being alone does not necessarily mean being lonely. As Sartre said, “If you are lonely when you’re alone, you are in bad company”.

That realisation was eye-opening for me. So, I decided to change my life, my mindset, my attitude. I decided to start a journey to get to know myself, to understand myself, to realise who I want to be and what I want to achieve in life, what my priorities, values, and goals are. To make the most out of my life, live in the present, and never take my life for granted but cherish it every day. I know, it will be a lifelong journey, an adventure. But it has already taught me so much about myself and there is so much more that I still need to learn.
